I had my son serve two terms in Iraq and until the weekend
of the Tribute to the Troops ride, I honestly did not realize
how fortunate I am that my son made it home. May God bless
you and all of you are in our prayers.
I am so sorry for the loss of your loved one. We can never
take our freedom for granted and along the way, there are
those that sacrifice for the world. God bless you all and
know that they will never be forgotten.
I am
so thankful for the sacrifice you and your loved ones have
made. Without such sacrifices, we wouldn’t be
able to enjoy the freedom we have. The service members that
have laid down their lives for us are in my heart and mind
every day. I will never forget!!!

When
some friends of mine asked me to go on the ride and visit
families of those who lost their loved ones overseas, I
first thought, ‘we should leave them alone.’ I
was hesitant, but after riding with, I realized that is totally
the wrong attitude! We need to show our pride for these hero’s!
We need to honor them. I am so grateful! Thank you! God bless
you. Your loved ones died for my family and me. I will never
forget.

I am grateful that I was asked to be a volunteer. I found
that it was very emotional and it makes one remember and
think how great the sacrifice is.

I don’t
know what the personal experience of war is. However, I
truly feel the emotion of what it is like to lose someone.
It is my heart-felt thank you to all of you that give me
the freedom that I experience today. It is my solemn promise
that next year, this event will pay a greater tribute to
men and women like yourselves!

Many of us cannot begin to understand the pain you may be
feeling for your sons, daughters, husbands, brothers, sisters,
fathers, and mothers who have given the ultimate sacrifice
for our freedom. One place where they will definitely never
be forgotten and will be remembered every Sunday at the Fort
Snelling Memorial Chapel. The entire congregation would be
honored with your presence any Sunday. Please come and join
us at the chapel.

My son, SPE Joshua Heath was in Iraq for 15 months. My heart
broke every day and sometimes I was sure he was dead, so
hard to go through, cannot imagine how you must have felt
when you got the news. My son made it home. Thank you for
all you see and for your strength that is mine every day!
A Mom
Your sacrifice does not go unnoticed. God bless you all.
I know the message will touch many lives with notes of love
and support. In my situation, I am raising a son to be respectful
to everyone and especially troops. I hope that he can be
as courageous as your family members have been. They have
had the courage to stand for the rights that many Americans
take for granted. They have laid down their lives and I pray
for you to have the best life possible and for the rest of
your time here on earth. They are looking down with pride
eon everyone here and watching over you every day.
Love and support to all-
God bless,
