Riding for fallen heroes

More than 30 motorcycles left Forest Lake early Friday on one of several legs of a Tribute to the Troops campaign designed to visit families of U.S. soldiers killed in Iraq or Afghanistan during the past year. The families of more than a dozen fallen heroes from Minnesota and Wisconsin are set to receive visits from several contingents of motorcyclists. Marie Nagel of Prior Lake was one of the riders who met in Forest Lake for the ride to Danbury, WI and on to points east before ending in River Falls, WI. Marie and her husband and fellow motorcyclist Mike are blue star parents with two son serving in the miliitary, including one who is in Iraq.
