Third Annual Tribute To The Troops
Salute To Armed Forces Day May 16th, 2009
Tribute To The Troops Salute To Armed Forces Day will join members of
the Military Salute Project to visit the gravesites
of Minnesotans,
or those with Minnesota connections, who died while
supporting
Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom
or Operation
Noble Eagle during the Global War On Terror.
We will place a silk flower arrangement at each gravesite, sound
Taps, and photograph each headstone. The photos will
be posted online
so that the families of the Fallen will know their
loved ones are not
forgotten and to serve as a reminder of the cost of
our Freedom.

The fee is $20.00 per person and includes a patch
or rocker (for
previous Salute participants) and admission to
the dance with High

This will be a long period without eating,
so you may want to bring a
candy bar or snack.
We will immediately proceed to an establishment
close by for lunch,
then ride to CR's Sports Bar in Coon Rapids
for the dance with High
Noon.
